SAE– IGIT COLLEGIATE CLUB

 

Established in 2000, SAE-IGIT Collegiate Club enabled IGIT to become an integral part of SOCIETY OF AUTOMOTIVE ENGINEERS, based in Detroit, U.S.A. It provides the student members of IGIT with an ideal platform for having an insight in all the technological revolutions taking place around the world.

Under the aegis of SAE Collegiate club and Ms. Shipra Aggarwal as the Faculty Advisor, various industrial visits, technical events and workshops are organized annually.

SAE International is a global association of more than 128,000 engineers and related technical experts in the aerospace, automotive and commercial-vehicle industries. SAE International's core competencies are life-long learning and voluntary consensus standards development. SAE International's charitable arm is the SAE Foundation, which supports many programs, including A World In Motion® and the Collegiate Design Series.

SAE IGIT Collegiate Club is a Chapter of Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE-INDIA), Northern India Section (NIS).

• Technical Paper Presentation workshop followed by a TPP Competition
• Inter Collegiate completion on Automobile control system ;
• Movie Screening based on automobiles

he collegiate club has more than 200 student member and has won the award for the best collegiate club in the Northern Section
