SCHOOL INDUSTRY INTERACTIONS
(University School of Chemical Technology)

Eminent engineers from industry are invited on a regular basis to interact with faculty and students. In the current year, senior executives from IOCL (R&D Centre), Stone and Webster Inc. and EIL visited the school and delivered lectures in their respective areas. This includes: - 

1.      Dr. R.P. Verma, Executive Director, IOCL, delivered a lecture on “Excursion to research driven development in Indian Petroleum Refining Industry” on 25^th September 2003

2.      Mr. S.C. Gupta, Vice president Stone & Webster Inc. (U.S. based Engineering and Technology Transfer Corporation) delivered a lecture on “Overview of refinery Technologies” on 21^st Oct 2003.

3.      Mr. A. Soni, Director – Technical, EIL Delhi delivered a lecture on “Future Prospects in Chemical Engineering” on 15^th January 2004.

4.      Mr. Keith J. Aspray, Managing Director, Universal Oil Products, delivered a lecture on “Meeting The Clean Fuel Challenge”

5.      Dr. K.S. Balaraman, Executive Director, Centre for High Technology, Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas delivered a lecture on “Innovation in Applied Research” on 15^th February 2005.

6.      Mr. S.K. Tannan, delivered a lecture on “Impact of WTO on Chemical Industries” on 10^th March, 2005
