Over twenty years of post doctoral research / teaching experience encompasses several topics related to the broad field of Chemical Engineering. At Masters Level the study involved Mass Transfer during drop formation stage in ternary liquid systems. Doctoral research was on "Direct Contact Heat Transfer to evaporating drop in immiscible liquid medium using high speed online camera". Post Doctoral work is mainly on combustion , pyrolysis , and gasification of biomass species. Several appliances like stove, gasifier, pyrolyser, etc. were designed, fabricated, tested and commercialized. Have handled several sophisticated instruments like Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer - both with flame and graphite furnace ; C-H-N-O Elemental Analyser; BET Apparatus; Micron photosizer for particle size distribution; Thermal Analyzer TGA/DTA; Microprocessor based Gas Chromatograph ;Gas Analyzer etc. Till date 21 publications / presentations in Journals, Proceedings and Conferences covering the above areas and interest.
