Mr. Ashish Payal is working as Asstt. Professor in the School of Information Technology , GGS Indraprastha University , Delhi . He has done M.Sc. (Applied Physics.) from Guru Nanak Dev University , Amritsar in 2000. He has obtained his M.Tech (Computer science and Engineering) from Punjabi University , Patiala . He is pursuing research in the field of Wireless Sensor Networks under the guidance/supervision of Prof. BVR Reddy and Dr. C S Rai. He has worked as Lecturer for three years in Doaba College , Jalandhar. He has participated in two National level conference and one International conference related to Network security and E-governance. He has also attended five day workshop on “Network Design using EcoNet”. He has also p articipated in Curriculum Development Workshop on VLSI Design conducted by department of Electronics & Telecommunications Engg. , Jadvpur University . His areas of interest are Computer Networks, Wireless Sensor Networks, System Simulation, Management Information System and Human Resource Development. He has also done Post Graduate Diploma in Management and pursuing MBA from IGNOU, Delhi . He is a life time member of CSI. He has guided various project works at B.Tech/M.Tech/M.C.A. levels. He is pursuing Ph.D. in “Wireless Sensor Networks”.
