ADVANCED COMPUTER LAB University School of Management Studies has state of the art infrastructure for fulfilling the needs of the students to keep par with the best institutions in India . The advanced computer lab providing 1:1 computer to student ratio is well equipped with latest softwares that complement the varying needs of the students as well as the research requirements of the faculty. Apart from SPSS and ERP system implemented by ESS-Makess, it includes a wide variety of softwares including latest web-development tools, database tools (RDBMS/Oracle). School has also subscribed to database softwares like CMIE, PROWESS. |
UNIVERSITY INFORMATION RESOURCE CENTRE One of the major strengths of USMS is the University Information Resource Center (UIRC), which actively supports the academic progress of the students and the faculty by providing literature and information in their respective disciplines. UIRC has an extensive collection of latest books, journals, CD-ROM databases etc. UIRC has bout 15000 books and subscribes to about 300 periodicals and journals. The UIRC enables the use of multimedia publications/study material, searching digital databases and for online searching of online databases. The library has also become member of UGC – INFONET through ERNET and provides access to 3500 plus e-journals. |
HOSTEL FACILITY The university provides hostel facility for more than 250 students, separately for boys and girls at the campus itself, enabling them to use the infrastructural facilities after normal teaching courses, thus helping them in their overall development. The hostels have wireless connectivity to the web, allowing students to pursue studies round the clock, through the Internet. |
