The Centre is established as a hub for education, research, and innovation with the following core objectives:
1. To incorporate the Indian Knowledge System (IKS) into the academic curriculum across the various schools of GGSIP University.
2. To promote interdisciplinary research and innovation in IKS, bridging traditional knowledge with modern scientific methodologies.
3. To develop new certificate courses, diplomas, and degree programs that integrate IKS in various disciplines.
4. To establish a digital repository for the documentation and preservation of ancient manuscripts, texts, and indigenous knowledge.
5. To foster entrepreneurship and industry collaborations that leverage IKS for sustainable development.
6. To engage in community outreach and public awareness initiatives to highlight the relevance of IKS.
7. To build global collaborations and engage in knowledge diplomacy to promote IKS on an international platform.
The Centre for Indian Knowledge System and Technology Innovation (CIKSTI) is a multidisciplinary hub established at GGSIP University in alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
