The University has an Equal Opportunity Cell and SC/ST Cell in compliance to UGC (Promotion of Equity in Higher Institutions) Regulations to enforce equity, social inclusion and anti-discrimination policies.

The mandate of the Equal opportunity Cell and SC/ST Cell is to ensure effective and transparent redressal of grievances of the disadvantaged groups including SC/ST/OBC (including non-creamy layer), Women, Minority and differently abled persons.

The Equal opportunity Cell and SC/ST Cell provide a monitoring mechanism in order to safeguard the interests of SC/ST/OBC (including non-creamy layer), Women, Minority and differently abled persons (University employees as well as students) in respect of implementation of reservation policy
