Vigilance Section:

The Office of the Chief Vigilance Officer, GGSIPU works for maintaining probity in public life, provides necessary guidelines for effectively carrying out vigilance administration in all departments of the University through various circulars/ directives from CVC and undertakes preventive, punitive and surveillance & detection activities. It handles complaints received from various sources against the employees of GGSIPU including complaints under public Interest disclosure and investigates into them in an impartial and time bound manner.

As per CVC guidelines no action is to be taken on anonymous / pseudonymous complaints irrespective of the nature of the allegations, and such complaints should be filed. As such complaints sent through written communication/letter/ email should contain name of the complainant, his/her complete postal address, mobile/telephone number, proof of identity such as PAN card, Aadhar card, Voter ID card, Driving License, Passport etc. with specific details/information of the matter.

To lodge a complaint on any allegation of corruption or of misuse of office wherein complainant wishes to keep the identity secret, the Office of the Chief Vigilance Officer can be requested to keep the identity secret. Anyone who is a victim of corruption or has any information of corruption in GGSIPU may lodge his/her complaint to CVO, by email to cvo@ipu.ac.in

Integrity Pledge: In order to create more awareness and participation of the public, the CVC has envisaged a concept of “Integrity Pledge” to enlist support and commitment of the citizens and other entities, to prevent corruption. The pledges are available on the Commission’s websitehttps://pledge.cvc.nic.in .

Vigilance Awareness Week The University celebrates Vigilance Awareness Week every year amongst its students and employees, for making them aware about the sensitivity of the issues and commitment towards their honesty and probity in work culture. The students also take part in Quiz, Workshops, Debate completion, JAM competitions, Essay Writing, Slogan Writing, Movie etc. during the Vigilance Awareness Week. The integrity pledge event is also organized to celebrate vigilance awarenss week every year for the employees and students of the University.
